Nope! Creating an account and browsing technicians is completely free. We only take a 5% fee when you successfully book a job through the platform.
How do I pay the technician?
You pay the technician through our website, when a job is created. We facilitate the connection and will process the payements through Stripe.
How is the 5% fee collected?
Once a technician accepts the job, IHS takes a 5% cut from the total job value. It’s similar to how platforms like Airbnb operate—only when a match is made.
Can I see a tech’s experience before booking?
Yes. Each technician has a profile that includes their skills, tools, job history, and (when available) ratings or reviews from other shops.
