Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 07/14/2025

Welcome to IntegratedHailServices.ca, a digital marketplace that connects bodyshops with independent Paintless Dent Repair (PDR) technicians for project-based repair services.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our platform, including all transactions, communications, and services facilitated through it. By using this site, you agree to these Terms. These Terms are subject to revision; please check back regularly for updates.

1. Platform Overview

IntegratedHailServices.ca acts as a neutral venue where:

  • Bodyshops can post jobs requiring PDR services.

  • Technicians can submit bids to perform those services.

  • Accepted offers are processed through the platform’s checkout system.

We do not provide PDR services directly. All work is completed by independent contractors (technicians) who are not employees, agents, or representatives of IntegratedHailServices.ca.

2. User Accounts

To access marketplace features, users must create an account and agree to:

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date information.

  • Maintain the confidentiality of login credentials.

  • Use the platform in compliance with all local, provincial, and federal laws.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Marketplace Transactions

3.1 Posting Jobs

Bodyshops may post repair jobs including relevant details, timelines, and expectations. Posts must be accurate and not misleading.

3.2 Bidding on Jobs

Technicians submit offers based on the job description. By submitting a bid, technicians acknowledge they are qualified to perform the work and can meet the proposed deadline.

3.3 Accepting Offers & Payments

Once an offer is accepted, payment is collected via our integrated checkout system powered by WooCommerce and Stripe (or another payment provider). Funds may be held in escrow until job completion, depending on platform settings.

4. Service Fulfillment

It is the responsibility of the technician to deliver the agreed-upon services in a professional and timely manner.

It is the responsibility of the bodyshop to:

  • Provide access to the vehicle(s) in question.

  • Review completed work in a timely manner.

  • Approve or dispute work based on the original agreement.

5. Dispute Resolution

We understand that disputes may occasionally arise. Our goal is to help parties resolve issues fairly and efficiently.

5.1 Self-Resolution First

Parties are expected to make reasonable attempts to resolve disputes directly via the platform’s messaging tools.

5.2 Escalating a Dispute

If a resolution cannot be reached:

  • Either party may open a dispute case by contacting Dave.c@integratedhailservices.ca.

  • IntegratedHailServices.ca will act as a neutral intermediary and may request:

    • Photos or documentation of the completed work.

    • A written explanation of the dispute.

    • Screenshots of relevant messages or agreements made through the platform.

5.3 Platform Review Process

Our internal team will review the case and may:

  • Issue a partial or full refund.

  • Release payment to the technician.

  • Recommend a rework or revision at no additional cost.

Note: IntegratedHailServices.ca’s decision is final within the scope of payment facilitation but does not limit legal rights of either party outside the platform.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Before Acceptance: Either party may withdraw or cancel before the offer is accepted without penalty.

  • After Acceptance:

    • Cancellations must be agreed upon by both parties.

    • IntegratedHailServices.ca may issue partial or full refunds at its discretion depending on the work completed and circumstances.

7. Fees and Taxes

IntegratedHailServices.ca charges service fees on transactions. Fees will be disclosed prior to checkout.

Taxes (GST/HST/PST) will be calculated and applied automatically based on location. Users are responsible for any personal tax filings related to income earned or services purchased through the platform.

8. Limitation of Liability

IntegratedHailServices.ca is not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, legality, or completion of any services offered by technicians.

  • Any loss or damages resulting from interactions between users.

  • Third-party platform outages or payment processor issues.

Use of the platform is at your own risk.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless IntegratedHailServices.ca, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, losses, or damages arising from:

  • Your use of the platform.

  • Your violation of these Terms.

  • Your infringement of any third-party rights.

10. Temporary Nature of Terms

These Terms are in effect temporarily while our legal Terms of Service are under development and pending review by legal counsel. By continuing to use this platform, you acknowledge that these Terms may be updated or replaced at any time, and that you will be notified of material changes.
